Project 5: Directional Dominance

The presentation of my design’s focal point is seen in an embryo like shape of the bottom left. The focal point is emphasized from a light to dark background, which surrounds the focal point. The stippling technique creates a sense of rhythm and it allows the eye to flow through the composition. I’ve created a sense of value established by a directional dominance by creating layers of a swirling effect. The implied lines enable your mind to connect the lines that creates a design. The design contains a full value range of implied lines. The successful aspect of my design is continuous flow of movement. The craftsmanship of my design has been executed in a professional manner.
